This website was lovingly hand written by Daniel.

I'm a software engineer, coder, nerd, who likes exploring technology. This website is for me to put down cool things I want to share.

I've gone back and forth between having a custom site and wordpress site several times. In the past, I've tried to create my own framework, which ends up being a pain to maintain. This time, there's no framework, just plain php, html, and a little js where it makes sense.

The comment system has a php backend + js frontend. Feel free to try to break it, hack it, etc, and let me know if you do.

One of my goals for the current design was that it's very lite, fast, and responsive. I discovered vanjs, a very tiny js library, which lets me code responsive react-like javascript components, but with very little overhead.

Privacy

I try to be privacy conscious. I don't want your data, and you shouldn't want to give me your data.

Data I Collect

1. Your IP Address, collected automatically by the web server when you navigate to this site
2. Your email address, if you provide it when creating a comment. I may use this to notify you when someone replies to your comment
3. Content you enter in a comment form
