Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 med onion, chopped
• 1 (16 o.z.)can whole tomatoes,
• undrained
• 4 cups water
• 2 beef-flavored bouillon cubes
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 to 1 tsp pepper
• 1 bay leaf
• 3/4 cup sliced celery
• 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
• 1 (10 o.z.) pkg frozen mixed veg.
• 1 cup med egg noodles, uncooked
• 1/2 tsp dried whole thyme

Directions

• Cook groun beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain on
• paper towels; discard pan drippings. Add next 8 ingredients; bring
• to a boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add vegetables, noodles,
• and thyme. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes,
• stirring occxasionally. Yield 6 to 8 servings.
