Beefy Sausage

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb ground beef
• 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
• 1 cup macaroni, cooked and
• drained
• 1 (12 o.z.) can whole kernel corn
• drained
• 2 (8 o.z.) cans tomato sauce
• 1/2 tsp ground oregano
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/8 tsp pepper
• 1 cup (4 o.z.) shredded American
• Cheese

Directions

• Crumble beef and sausage into a 2 quart casserole; stir in onion
• and green pepper. Cover, simmer until meat is done, stirring twice,
• drain off excess drippings. Add macaroni, corn, tomato sauce, and
• seasonings to meat mixture; mix well. Cover and simmer until
• thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and heat 5 to 10
• minutes or until cheese melts. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
